About

The Wired Earth Catalogue is an online artwork that inventories the detritus of digital desire. Modelled after mid-century countercultural catalogues like The Whole Earth Catalogue, it replaces the utopian optimism of those early networked dreams with the quiet absurdities of twenty-first-century browsing.

Each entry records a fragment from the artist’s own online “window-shopping” habits: things coveted, almost-purchased, then abandoned. Together, these objects form a portrait of longing, distraction, and data-saturated life. Found texts, book fragments, and glitched poetics are collaged into the language of product listings, transforming the digital marketplace into a kind of philosophical field report.

The result is a catalogue of connections, between technology and tenderness, commerce and cognition, networks and need; mapping the strange, wired ecology we now inhabit.
